Citrix Metaframe and the Rome server provide us with two important capabilities. First, Citrix Metaframe allows us to run Windows (PC) type programs in a Unix/Linux environment without the use of a Windows emulator. Second, by using the Rome server, we make programs like OpsLog available site wide without having to install these programs on every workstation.
