Concerning the Who@Computer field. All Green Bank workstations with an IP address starting with 172 should be entered as username@computer.gbt.nrao.edu. All others should be entered as username@computer.gb.nrao.edu. The following computers are listed as 172 machines: amanda, victor, bonnie, naiad, virgo, vortex, scylla, muacu, pollux, oldvega, dubhe, osiris, bcpm2, titania, earth, wind, gemini, and fire.

The following computers are listed as 172 machines: amanda, victor, mike, marsha, virgo, vortex, scylla, muacu, pollux, oldvega, dubhe, osiris, bcpm2, and gbt-spec-ws.

Selecting the Limited option under the device menu will allow an individual access to all devices, but only allows them to make changes to devices parameters on those devices where no one has been given specific permissions. 

Granting Cleo Permissions using the Gateway Application.

STEP

ACTION
1 Launch the CLEO Gateway application: CLEO launch®Utilities/Tools®Gateway
2 At the login window enter the appropriate name and password (see login/password list). The Gateway application will appear.
3 If the person currently has device access, click on their name (enters it in the Who@Computer field). Otherwise, enter their user name and computer name in the Who@Computer field. Example: ou812@victor.gb.nrao.edu
4 Select the device(s) to allow access to by right clicking in the Device field (displays a pop up window of all devices). Select a device by clicking on it. If allowing access to all devices, simply enter all in the device field.
5 Press the Allow button. Access to the device is now granted.
6 Repeat steps 3-5 as necessary to allow access to multiple devices (other than all). Press the Quit button when done.

Revoking Cleo Permissions using the Gateway Application.

STEP

ACTION
1 Launch the CLEO Gateway application: CLEO launch®Utilities/Tools®Gateway

3 Double click on the persons name (enters it in the Who@Computer field).
4 Select the device to revoke access to (double click on the device or type it into the device field). Simply enter all if revoking access to all devices. 
5 Press the Revoke button. Access to the device is now removed.
6 Repeat steps 3-5 as necessary to revoke access to multiple devices. Press the Quit button when done.
