TELESCOPE OPERATIONS

SAVING AND LOADING CONFIGURATION FILES

This application is designed to save/load device configurations.

Do not load observing configurations that include antenna parameters while the antenna is in motion. This may cause an unexpected move.

STEP		ACTION
1	Launch the Save All Configuration application: CLEO launch®Utilities/Tools®Save All Configurations
2	A Problem Managers window will appear. Follow its instructions then press the OK button.
3	The Save All Devices window will appear. Select the devices to save to your configuration (Note: All devices above blue line are those currently being used). Press the save button.
4	A Save Configuration dialog box will appear. Name the file and select the directory to save it.

STEP		ACTION
1	Launch the Load All Configuration application: CLEO launch®Utilities/Tools®Load All Configurations (the Load Configuration dialog box appears).
2	Go to the directory holding the configuration (.tcf) file. Select the file (double click on it or enter the name in the file name slot). Click the open button. A 'Load All Devices' dialog box appears.
3	Select the devices/managers to load (Note: all above blue line are currently in use) or use the "select all" option. Press the Load button.
4	A status indicator will appear showing the load in progress. When the dialog box disappears, the load is complete.
5	Check all devices to ensure configurations have loaded correctly.
