- MR approved by CCC/ready for “Accepted/Delivered” approval by sponsor:
- YGOR installation successfully completed and tested on ‘Spider’ at UPenn
- Review to date shows the Archivist application as relatively stable and it remains the method of choice for writing the cryogenic FITS files.
- All cryogenic data is to be captured in one FITS file for each scan. Data will have field/level timestamp separate from sampler timestamp.
- We can wait to test on a ‘cold’ MUSTANG until there's a driver from the new software development side -- give Simon a few days or a week heads up on needs. The receiver is assembled and would be easy to cool down. We can group together the testing of YGOR, detector biasing, new items (eg GPIB), and cryo.
- CLEO may be needed in order to test Collection of Bias Curves on MUSTANG – Brian to investigate.
- Mark is formulating a list of bugs and enhancements to be considered for inclusion in the Cycle #5 (15-Aug) release.
- Data monitoring – The basic function is designed but the performance aspects of the work are tricky. Some adjustments have been made that may require Sponsor re-approval (Ray to determine).
- Cryogenic simulator enhancements – addition of a state engine to the static tables used in version #1 of the simulator.
- Cryogenic control and monitoring.
- Two changes are planned for ‘Bias File’ (which saves tuning information):
- Add DAC values to Bias Files
- Reorder Bias File for easier review and editing. Order by columns instead of items
- Part of MR that covers ‘load configuration’ – edits and approvals will be needed.
