renewable in May. A motion was made and approved that the rec board that in May, $10000 will be re invested in the 11 month certificate of deposit. The remaining $6000 (and change) will be put into the checking account until September. In September the board will determine how much money will be needed to carry us over from this fiscal year to the 2009 fiscal year. What is not needed from the $6000 for carry over will be invested in a CD in September.

New Business

Officers

Glen was not aware that he was vice president. The board elected Mike McCarty? as Vice President.

Easter Party

Decorating for the Easter party will occur on March 7, 2008 at 3:30 PM. Carla will noitify Mike Holstien and he will

in turn notify Lynette of our plans for that date.

Sue Shears (coordinator) asked for help with hiding the easter eggs. Mike and Sherry McCarty? volumteered to help.
Mike McCarty volunteered to be the Easter bunny.

The Projection Room Storage Area

Both the day care and the rec board have access the this area and use it as storage which is problematic since it requires removing daycare items in order to access the rec board items. Mike Holstien is going to change the lock and provide a key to the rec board, thus alleviating the problem.

April XBox Party

The date for the XBox party was set to Saturday, April 19, 2008.

NRAO GBT Picnic

The 2008 picnic data was set to August 9, 2008.

Pool Party

The July pool party date was set to July 12, 2008.
