- Carla has oreder the tents
* She will speak with Kenin concerning the picnic set up
- Chris Clark has volunteered to coordinate the fireworks
- Porta Potties have been ordered
- No one has volunteeded to be the games coordinator
- Carla will spak with Sue about ordering the prizes. It was agreed that Sue could buy the prizes
- Jay confirmed that he would be the chairman of the entertainment committee
- Karoke is a croud please and Jay will find the MC for it. Candidates are: Ron Duplain, a summer studet, one of our high shcool students
- Melinda confirmed that she would sell the tickets
- Melinda needs a list of employees, dependents, retirees, summer employees, RETs
- The picnic policy for free tickets is:
- GB and Charlottesville employees are eligible for 2 free tickets, 1 for themselves and one for their spouse or guest
- Each employee with dependent children is eligible to recieve a free ticket for each child
- Summer students are elibile for a free ticket and a ticket for their spouse/significant other if applicable
- Retirees are eligible for 2 free tickets, 1 for themselves and one for their spouse or guest
- Summer employees are eligible for a free ticket
- Additional tickets may be purchased
- Melinda should talk to Sue Ann about the purchase of tickets by the students in the governers school.
- Chuck Beverage presented a letter written on behalf of Glenn, requesting funding for a new recreational facility at Green Bank.
* The board unanimously approved the letters' content. Jay will apply some word smithing to the letter. Glen will submit the letter to Fred Lo.
- Bob mentioned that he would like to have a golf outing soon. Since this is already a line item in the 2007 budget, no approval was required.
