- There have been a few items purchased: wahs baskets to hold the ropes that Mike Stennes made, posical sticks and a whiteboard.
- There was a discussion concerning whether the rec board had previously approved the subsidies of individual memberships. It was confimed that it had not been approved.
- Denise ws given lane ropes infomation and stated that they will provide 5000 from the wellness funds. Some of this money should go for lane ropes.
- Jules brought up that Mike Stennes has spend time, effort and money making the laneropes, buying t shirts and would like to recognize him in some way.
- Pool cover is falling apart but they have reversed it so that it will last a bit longer. Mike Mccarty is going to look into buying a new one. Sue shears said that we had bought the previous one in charlottesville and had saved a considerable amount of money on shipping by using the NRAO vehicles to deliver it here to Green Bank.

- The july outing team met and have planned some pool games. They will possibly purrchase volloyball net and basketball nets out of the pool party money. They are also thinking of a potluck dinner with the recboard monies going towards the purchase of hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks. They will also set up the rec boards entertainment system and use personal ipods for music.

- Catering prices have increased substantially. There was considerable discussion concerning how we can alleviate some of the costs. Possible options were: roasting our own pig and only buying chicken and "fixings". Mike Mccarty thought he could smoke the pig and it was also mentioned that Mike Hedrick had smoked pigs for numerous outings in the past. Sue will check with Caterers concerning the savings of meals without the pork.
