Penn Array Receiver Software Development Division Request Cycle 1 2004

2 Weeks of Michael Lacasse's effort to work on a Java Native Interface (JNI) for GPIB and the PCI DAQ card for the Penn Array; this essentially replicates C (for instance) device driver calls with Java methods, which the NASA IRC software can then use. This fill two key missing gaps for the NASA control software (IRC). Troy Ames (Senior Software Engineer at NASA) & Brian Mason will act as contact points for this work, and it can be done remotely. Due to travel on the part of Troy & Brian it's preferable that this work be done later in the month.
