Dynamic Scheduling Project Action Plan

Development Approach:

• Use our existing stuff as much as possible (SDD + Carl)
• Use JAC stuff as much as possible where it fits, esp. investigate the feedback tools
• Investigate how/if ALMA stuff could be integrated, as appropriate
• We do only systems integration, and develop missing pieces as required
• Aim to transition to a common NRAO approach

Things we know we need to do soon (as discussed in our late June meeting):

1. PolicyDevelopmentOld - complete the policy, maybe prepare a Science Operations Plan like the ones other observatories have?
2. SchedulingMetadataOld - determine what metadata needs to be carried around, then make sure all SBs can be tagged with this information (e.g. store it in the Observation Management Database)
3. DatabaseIssuesOld - integrate Carl's tools and SDD tools; but we need to know what we're trying to achieve before we do this
