- Dana: Work on weather requirements and database
- Jim: Work on algorithm for selecting the best program to observe among a set of typical observing programs, based on my requirements memo, Dana's weather data, and "other" considerations such as rank assigned by the scheduling committee
- Karen: Organize external review; begin work on user's manual

Determine system for advance notification for a project potentially running at a given time
