Ready to go, Eric is the operator. Project ID is TKA_CCB12JAN06
wind is < 5mph, tau is less than 0.05 at 34 GHz. Visually clear, ambient temperature is -2.8 C
Am going to start with a calibration on 3C147, would like to do casa map but source will sink before it is finished.
Configuration failed running ccbCalib3c147
[02:00:41] <Fault SOAP-ENV:Server: set_values_list(): Bad device(s), parameter path(s) or NULL values detected:
DEVICE ERROR: Rcvr26_40 is in 'Standby' state, cannot be turned on
Scan coordinator believes rx is in ready state and rx looks like it's on in CLEO so there is a software problem
Mark restarted the rx manager and that seems to have cleared things up but there are still reports of inconsistencies between the M&C system and the configuration tool.
still getting the same message second time round so have restarted turtle and grail. I think it may be a result of the rx manager being restarted and putting the system out of sync.
Ran ccbCalib3c147 a third time with no error messages, am moving to ccbCycle08h. Hmm, peak fits look good despite DP not being in raw mode...

GFM-test is resetting the DP to beamswitched and not keeping it as raw, therefore I wouldn't trust these, though fits do look good. Am aborting and beginning again to try and get a reliable peak/focus.
so 1-3 are ccbCalib3c147, 4-8 are peak/focus, 9 is an aborted beginning of raLongmap

Brian's mapping scripts are erroneous. was calling for a 10 arcmin by 10 minute map when he really wanted a 10 arcmin by 10 arcmin map. I will alter his scripts
He*should* read
RALongMap(targetloc,
Offset("J2000","00:00:40",0.0,cosv=True),
Offset("J2000",0.0,"00:10:00",cosv=True),
Offset("J2000",0.0,"00:00:08",cosv=True),
60.0,"1",False,1,40)
and
DecLatMap(targetloc,

Power levels for ccb looking good. Everything looking fine.

23.28 Scan 43.
*************************************************************
I am seeing a warning for the ccb but there is nothing in CLEO Message telling me what it might be. power levels are fine.
I hit 'reset parameters' on ccb manager during scan 43 which messed with the power levels.
Scans 46-50 peak/focus looks o.k. though sky baseline looks a little ratty, visually becoming slightly cloudier.

Am beginning crab map at 23.49.
May be chasing this source toward the horizon by the time it finishes.
Crabmap begins with peak/focus, scan 52.

Crabmap is underway, will line this up with ccbcycle 14h.
Actually, have dug myself into a bit of a lst hole. will line up ccbcycle08h first, then ccbcalib3c286, then ccbcycle14h. This should optimise things.

01.56 Scan 150.

DecLatMap failed again, calculations wrong obviously. Eric says scans no's went to ~4000. Not enough time left before Crab
will sink below 30 deg so will just go from ccbcycle08h first, then ccbcalib3c286, then ccbcycle14h.
ccbcycle08h 151 et seq.

02.16 power levels looking good, wind still low and getting colder.

These show the variation in measurements of the blank field. The results look fairly Gaussian, but the noise is very high in the lowest and highest bands. It is better in the middle band, best at 32 GHz, where noise per channel is ~0.6 mJy for the 70 sec observation. These plots include all commissioning data EXCEPT the Jan09/10 run. The first set of plots zooms in near 0. The second set shows from +/- 4 sigma.
