Observing News -- Ron/Toney

We had a high observing load of 23 projects in 41 sessions including one VLBI project. There was one day of maintenance lasting for 8.5 hours, 8 hours of PTCS tests, 4 hours of Scal measurements and one hour for Subreflector Nodding tests. There was 8.2 hours of time lost of which human error accounted for 1.7 hours (20% of the lost time) and weather accounted for half of the lost time. However, over 14 hours of time was SAVED due to the new 1/2 speed slew rates at low temperatures introduced this week - this paid off big time!

We also had on occurence of an observer having a slew abort and then thinking that there was a bug since AutoPeakFocus picked a pointing source near where the antenna was when the slew aborted but also being more than 60 degrees away from the target source.

Commissioning Plans -- Ron

GBT Telescope Operations -- Bob

Mechanical Division Operations -- Dennis

Microwave Electronics Operations -- Steve

Digital Electronics Operations -- Randy

During last week's efforts to fix the 8 remaining actuators on the Active Surface, Jason and J.D. were forced off the GBT early due to snow. This resulted in 6 of the 8 actuators being fixed, while 2 remained "bottomed-out". Tuesday morning of this week, Jason and J.D. repaired these two remaining actuators.

RFI Group Operations -- Carla

Software Operations -- Amy

Computing and Network Operations -- Chris

Business Services -- Mike

43m Operations -- Glen

Project and Development Work

Dynamic Scheduling -- Karen

MUSTANG -- Brian

PTCS program -- Marty, John, Todd

CICADA program -- John
