43 METER CONSOLE DISPLAY

General

The 43 Meter Console Display is an RSCREEN window used to monitor antenna information and run observing command files. Display windows typically used are:

ACU 43M (Antenna control menu items as well as current position data).
Dispatch Commands (Used to run observing command files).
Tech (Used to enter comments pertaining to observing).
NTP Time (Timing display)
Clock (Alternate timing display)

Launching the 43 Meter Console Display

STEP	ACTION
1	Launch an xterm window via putty (double click the putty icon).
2	Log in to a host workstation, i.e., prospero, 43m-console, or other. At the prompt, log in as 140ops (follow with password).
3	Enter rscreen deimos to launch the 43 Meter Console Display. Then use the menus at the top of the display to select the desired display windows.
4	A ctrl-C or click on the X will kill the xterm session/window.
