GBT STATUS DISPLAY

General

The GBT Status Display is an application designed for use by remote observers.

Info

GBT Status Display may be run from any workstation (unix, linux, Windows PC). The Windows PC will require Exceed running.

Starting/Closing GBT Status Display

STEP ACTION
1 From an xterm window, enter: gbtstatus (launches the default GBT Status Display screen).
2 To close the GBT Status Display, press q (quit) in the status window or select quit from the session pull down menu.

Troubleshooting Problems

STEP ACTION
1 Fix actions for currently known problems are located at the troubleshooting wiki web page. Stopping and restarting the gbtstatus.d or Grail processes on the host fire are the primary fixes.
2 Log any failures in OpsLog and contact the designated callout person if necessary.
