TELESCOPE OPERATIONS

Lockout/Tagout for Turret

General

The Lockout/Tagout is designed to completely disable the Turret from moving. Lockout/Tagout will be used to prevent motion when service is required.

STEP ACTION
1 At the SCU Cabinet, locate the Turret yellow lockout button marked Turret Lockout
2 Push the yellow button IN (cuts off power to the turret only)
3 Place a lock on the latch moved over the yellow button. The locks can be found in the red Lockout/Tagout box next to the phone. Include with the lock a tag explaining who is working on the turret and why.
