Board Meeting Minutes for May 15, 2007

The consensus was that the Easter party was a success and that the easter bunny was excellent this year.

Several suggestions were floated. They included:
- Pool Party
- Train ride -- we think this would be a good activity for the fall
- Biking trip on the GreenBrier trail with possibly inclusion of canoes
  - we would need to have the picnic area somehwere near one of the access roads.
  - Jay will research the trail, and provide us with a map. Possible play a trip for around July the 7th.
The decision was made to have a dinner and a movie night in June. Glenn will pick the movie and send the email concerning dates etc.

Scheduled for Aug 4, 2007.
- There was some concern about the number of rec board members who would not be available on the day of the picnic.
- During subsequent short meetings of the rec board during the week of 5/15/2007, the board decided to stay with the original date of 8/4/2007.
Food Committee - Sue, Glenn, Bob and Kenny.
- We will have Southern Reds cater the food this year.
Carla is in charge of ordering the tents.
Jay is heading the entertainment committee.
Melinda is going to do the ticket sales.
Glenn will arrange for the boy scouts to be on hand for clean up duty during the picnic.
- A motion to donate $150 to the boyscouts in appreciation of their help was approved.
No one committed to being in charge of the games.
