Entertainment Committee

Responsibilities:

1. In Advance:
   • Meet as a committee before next month?s meeting and decide what the performance budget is, and what non-paid performance activities will be organized.
   • Figure out the logistics of where and when for performance activities, plus any PA requirements, also plan to provide PA for games and general announcements, and lights and PA for bingo.
   • Provide the president with this information when it has been decided.
   • Coordinate with performers
2. Day before the Picnic:
   • Last minute logistic check; set up any lights or PA that can be done in advance
3. Day of the Picnic:
   • Any remaining lights or PA setup
   • Be available to assist performers with whatever they need and answer their questions. Somebody should also check around to make sure things are happening at the appointed times.

Responsibilities

1. In Advance:
   • Meet as a committee before next month’s meeting and decide what the games will be and who is in charge of each activity. Provide the president with this information when it has been decided.
   • Purchase prizes
   • Inventory games materials and purchase/fix anything we need
2. Day before the Picnic:
   • Game preparations possibly including:
   • Inflate balloons for balloon race
   • Fill water balloons
   • Rope off horseshoe area
3. Day of the Picnic:
   • Announce and coordinate all games, distribute prizes, and record winners on the board of champions.

2007 Picnic Comments:

-Suggest we have drinks at the other end of the pavilion (at the end of the line).

-Designate members to help after the caterer leaves to put in new trash bags, check on drinks and ice, and put leftover food in frig.

-Nathan suggested the fireworks be moved up closer to prevent catching the hillside on fire.
