Accomodation

We have 37 registrants so far.

3 or 4 non-NRAO lecturers, 4 NRAO lecturers

Hermitage is currently closed, looks like it's staying that way

Arecibo folks are happy to stay at Redwood house.

Mountain Quest have offered a 30% discount if we fill it, we are going to take this at $110/$130 per single/double room (pre-discount)

Banquet speaker can be put up in Mountain Quest or possibly Sweet Thyme Inn.

Bunkhouse chaperones quarters are good for lecturers, another 2 there.

Local NRAO houses are currently being set up.

We are going to cap no. of participants at 40 (not including REUs etc.)

Registration

Becky doesn't care how she receives info on visitors, at some point we will just ask registrants to send an email with info, REMEMBER to get gender info so that room-mates can be assigned without mixing.

Banquet Speaker

Joe Taylor has declined our invitation to speak, Woody Sullivan and Vera Ruben were suggested as possible alternatives

Computing

ChrisClark? will set up at least 10 computers in the science centre with standard Green Bank installs (GBTIDL, astrid, cleo, etc), there will also be laptop connections

CharlieMyers? will be here during school, he goes on vacation on the 16th. Wasn't able to check with Wolfgang but so long as Charlie is here we should be o.k.

Miscellaneous

ALERT! Order books asap, If we just order 60 we should have no problem disposing of them in SC shop. Karen will do this

ALERT! Larry will talk to CarlBignell? about schedule during the school.
