GO requests For Cycle 1, 2005:

Description Priority PO Request Tested GUI Tested Tables
Limit off-line users running GO in simulate mode from affecting telescope setup via IARDS. 1 xxx DONE DONE
GO Should not change velocity, velocity frame, or velocity definition when changing observing modes. Too easy to miss resetting these parameters when observing and badly compromised data results. 1 802,1017 DONE
Rates should not be setable when using NOD. Instead, the NOD procedure should eliminate the rate widgets and simply use zero rates at all times. Too much data has been corrupted by late-night mistakes. 2 945 DONE DONE
GO should retain frequency-switching values between changes in mode -- this will eliminate the need for those frequency switching to use CLEO's LO1 screen. 3 xxx
PEAK should pick "ENCODER" offsets, which is necessary for GFM to work and is something IARDS can handle as well. 4 xxx DONE DONE
Integrate fix for procedure iteration count in go_tables.g 4 1019 DONE DONE
GO currently doesn't know about the polarization and beam switches in the X- and Ka-band receivers. Thus, observers using GO cannot utilize these switches. 5 xxx
Remove "GO" and have "GO_LITE" the one and true GO. 6 xxx
NOD should not allow the user the ability to set the starting beam. Instead, the NOD procedure should eliminate the beam selection widget and assume the selected feed as the selected beam. 7 xxx
PEAK should obtain it's values from a lookup table based on SKY frequency (warning: this should not use rest frequency). 8 xxx

Note: checkmarks denote items tested on simulator, not sponsor testing.

Additional items added after POR:

This was also on the POR under Melinda, but she says it should be Joe's:
