Integration Test: 06 Feb 2008, 16:30 - 20:30

Installation

Very smooth. Manually stopped and restarted IFRack, ConverterRack to restore lost RPC connection.

Testing

integration1 scheduling block

Message about illegal value for receiver in ScanCoordinator "**Error: Illegal value in ScanCoordinator receiver entry -> NoiseSource" We think this caused the peaking procedure to abort, and move on to the spectral line scans. These were successful (Scans 1,2).

integration2 scheduling block

Slewed to source 2252+6440 as calibrator for source U11861. Starting peak scans. Scan 3 - Az, good. Scan 4 - Az, good. Az correction passed successfully. Scan 5 - El, good, Scan 6 - El, good. El correction passed successfully. Scan 7 - Focus, good. Focus correction passed successfully. Scans 8, 9 - spectral line scans, look good.

integration1 scheduling block, attempt #2

Slewing back toward source UA93. Using 0433-0229 as calibrator for peaks. Scan 10 - Az, good. Scan 11 - Az, good. Az correction passed successfully. Scan 12 - El, "good". Scan 13 - El, good fit, but failed heuristics, so no El correction passed. Scan 14 - Focus, crummy looking scan, but some kind of fit (-172+mm). Focus correction passed successfully. Scan 15 - spectral line scan, looks good. Scan 16 - spectral line scan, looks good. Checked scans 15, 16 in gbtidl to verify good data - looks good.

Testing - Incrementing the Project Session Number - Successful

Problem with project TINT seen in test #1 is gone. AmyShelton discovered she needed to add functionality to this feature, to not increment session numbers if mode is OFFLINE. Mod #1 testing at ~17:50 failed. Mod #2 testing at ~18:10, still fails on selection of TINT project. Final mod testing at ~19:00 successful.

Confirmed successful results from integration testing #1.

Testing - Ka configuration for MUSTANG - Successful

Reconfirmed configuration messages in Astrid when running KAconfigure scheduling block.

Testing - Disallow execution of SB when GBT not Ready - Successful

Reconfirmed successful behavior from integration test #1.

Spigot checkout (~17:55)

Spigot testing failed. Twice

After Ray's recommendation to make session number only numeric, the scheduling block ran to successful completion.

Switch back to Release 7.7

Smooth transition. Antenna message about Pointing Model containing all zeroes. Reset by operator. Doing restore_release_test script to do AutoPeakFocus?(). Scans 17,18 cannot find antenna data message. Drives re-enabled by operator, taking new pointing scans. Pointing on source 0621+1432. Scan 19 - Az, good. Scan 20 - Az, good. Az corrections successfully passed. Scan 21 - El, good. Scan 22 - El, good but no label in Astrid (shows "n/a"). El corrections passed successfully. Scan 23 - Focus. Not enough baseline.
