To give it a try:

• logview-test

or, as part of the sparrow integration release:

• source /home/sparrow/integration/sparrow.bash
• logview

Done:

• remove the progress dialog and add a progress bar to the status bar (lower right-hand corner)
• augment choices for selecting a time range
• add error checking to the selection panel, both with individual field validation and across field validation
• logview should be able to work transparently with the new archive directories
• both the current and archive root directories should be specified as options in the $SPARROW_DIR/sparrow.conf file
• message dialog when lack of log files prevents plotting of data
• make the selection panel prettier (better, more flexible control layout)
• provide basic math functions for expressions - add numarray functions to the expression evaluator
• overlay needs to work
• need list of aliases for often-used logs
• make controls context-sensitive - i.e., disable the "Plot" button if there's nothing to plot

To do needed to ship (rough priority order):

• resizing works
• crashes with large data sets

To do enhancements (rough priority order):

• second ordinate (Y2) needs to work
• need to speed-up display for large data sets (probably more a deap issue)
• add a Data panel that displays the plot data in a tabular form
• protect against math errors
