1. Introduction

The current DSS Mock-Up generates and schedules sessions for a period of time for which it has weather forecasts, currently 48 to 60 hours in the future. Observers require some measure of likelihood of their sessions being scheduled beyond the range of weather forecasts and throughout the trimester. This iteration primarily adds a core system for generating probabilities based on past weather history and trimester scheduling simulations.

2. Background

Third step in the SoftwareAgileWorkBreakdownStructure (release 0.3) [refer to "probability generation" in the User table]. See DSS project charter for more information.

This MR builds upon the Handle Fixed and Windowed Sessions.

3. Requirements

Add the following features by January 18, 2008:

• display probabilities for each sesssion covering the remaining of the trimester
• generate 24 hour schedules automatically and daily

5. Deployment

Not being deployed at time of completion.

6. Test Plan

6.1 Internal Testing

Unit tests.

6.2 Sponsor Testing

Inspect skeleton as it is developed.

6.3 Integration/Regression Tests

None required since it is not being deployed upon completion.
