1. Operational/User Support Items Completed During C3 2007

For each support item, please list the amount of effort involved as either: low, medium, or high. Guidelines for these rankings are as follows:

• low - Things that take less than two hours.
• medium - Things that take more than two hours, but less than eight hours.
• high - Things that take more than eight hours.

If multiple people are involved in an item, please list it only once. Effort estimates should reflect total time elapsed, i.e. how long did it take to fix the problem start to finish - not the sum total of each person's time.

• 4/19/2007 - MarkClark, PaulMarganian - spectral processor inoperative because TaskMaster could not restart processes, after restarting it manually, it failed to send settings to IF Manager which then caused malformed sdfits files to be formed which then prevented gbtidl from displaying data, connection re-established after several scans low
• 4/20/2007 - MarkClark - spectrometer generating repeated serial-line errors, cause was spectrometer had turned itself off low
• 4/21/2007 - MarkClark - observer's astrid lost connections to Grail and turtle, restarting astrid was insufficient to clear all problems, forced to restart turtle low
• 4/24/2007 - MarkClark, PaulMarganian - spectral processor inoperative because TaskMaster could not restart processes
• 4/27/2007 - JoeBrandt - Troubles after PF change to 800MHz feed. Reloading cabling file, not enough, required Dcr manager to be cycled off/on. low
• 5/2/2007 - RamonCreager - Assisted Gary with MCB problems in the receiver lab. No software issues. low
• 5/3/2007 - JoeBrandt - Mass update of all drivers and kernels on both simulator and gbt control machines. medium

Most of the fields are properly validated. I think we both feel that having a non editable form that has the same "look and feel" as the editable one is a much better solution for the user. The user could view and then "choose" to edit the data. We have agreed on a structure within the turbogears framework for our custom widgets and controllers. MJM thinks we made good progress this week and are on a roll.

To date this has not been a problem since the hardware filters out the spikes. However with the hardware modifications coupled with this MR, the spikes will corrupt the intended operation of the friction compensation. John is working on modeling a different methods of deriving the velocity commands.

Executed PrePoint application on TPTCSPNT_060818 project: prepoint TPTCSPNT_060818 -h /home/archive/test-data/tape-0003/ -a -d -v Compared output values for Focus scans of this run with saved output data from one month ago which contains correct values confirmed against old glish code.	RonGrider	Error reported by FrankGhigo. Corrected PrePointExecutor.py file, Frank confirms the output values are now correct when using dynamic flag for focus scans. Patched into Release 7.2
TimeStamp Library fix	Run the unit test in the TimeStamp directory.	JoeBrandt	The TimeStamp library had a bug in the HrsMinSec(int, int, double) method. (Seconds were rounded in error.)
emailNotifier multiple recipients bug fix	Use emailNotifier to send a email to multiple recipients (using a list) and verify that the "to" email addresses appear correctly. 'email1@nrao.edu', 'email2@nrao.edu'	MikeMcCarty	I've copied emailNotifier.py to sparrow/api/util/src This includes a bug fix where the "To" header was format incorrectly.
